The Good Soldier Schweik (1956 film)

The Good Soldier Schweik Czech Dobr vojk vejk is a 1956 Czech color antiwar comedy film written and directed by Karel Stekl. It was based on famous novel The Good Soldier vejk by Jaroslav Haek and was nominated for the 1957 Crystal Globe Awards. It was followed by a 1957 sequel Poslun hlsm English I Dutifully Report.
